The blogmaster is back!
I've been busy trying to get back into the world of the employed, and now that that's happened, I can be sane again!
So, what's on my mind today?
Pat Tillman - Man, this is some hard news to hear. This man gave up a $3,600,000 contract to play in the NFL so that he could be an Army Ranger. I respect the hell out of anyone who can walk away from that much money to fight for principle, and to believe in something that strongly. It's people like him that make this country so fantastic, and I want so much to let Marie, his widow, know that I wish I had that courage in myself. Pat, I love ya, man. You rock. I hope that Marie gets all of the help that she needs in life, since she has sacrificed so much for the rest of us. There's really nothing more that I can say, or I will break down.
Hitlary Clinton, the quintessential lying bitch from hell, more-or-less admitted that the intelligence that Bush had to work from was the same as what her lying, cheating scoundrel of a sham-of-a-husband had to work from. Whereas Bush took the information to heart, Clinton just said that that Saddam had those weapons, but never believed it. In other words, he lied.
The next person who tells me that Iraq is another Vietnam is going to get punched in the throat. I hate the idiots who can't come up with an original thought, so they get their talking points from some DNC or Kerry campaign website, where they attempt to portray our overwhelming and decisive victory in Iraq as the limited-involvement conflict which we never won, or even fully entered in Asia. It's apples and oranges, or apples and hand grenades. The two are so amazingly different, that it amazes me how someone even made that comparison, unless he or she was so distraught that the opposition has come into power and done what needed to be done so effectively, so much so that it was an embarassment to the team that had 8 years to act, suffered numerous attacks to our interests, and never lifted a finger. In fact, the few missiles we let fly wouldn't have left the ground if Monica didn't pull out a stained dress. So, to the leftists who hate to be proved wrong, get over it. You had your chance, now let the other side gloat.
Now that the Baathist dictator is out of Iraq, the confirmation that as much as TEN PERCENT of the humanitarian "aid" that the U.N. oversaw that was supposed to feed/clothe the Iraqi people was stollen outright by members of the U.N. Stollen. We should find those responsible, and set up a special tribunal to prosecute them.
Here's a telling picture:
Notice the sign on the far right. Not one, but TWO errors in one sign. I bet that guy's from Texas.
Today the knuckleheads from PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) were out at Emory protesting animal research. To the assholes who showed up, remember that a Senior VP for PETA is insulin-dependent. Insulin was derived from animal testing. Can you say hypocracy? I wish I could've driven down there and kicked the crap out of each and every numb-skull protestor. Even better, let's use PETA members for animal testing, since they are slightly less smart than other primates.
