Happy Freakin' New Year. I was hoping to see more intelligence this year than last, but Howard Dean is still running for President. This is the man that tries to impress religious zealots by proclaiming that his favorite book of the "New Testament" is the Book of Job. The next thing you know, he'll proclaim that this country has more Americans in it than any other! Or that death is a leading reason why some people aren't here anymore. The Democrats that are running for President should have their convention in Orlando, so they can be close to the other Goofy. And this is their front-runner? The sad part is that they have the temerity to call Bush stupid. I guess stupid is as stupid does.
If you haven't heard, a woman is claiming that she lost her lottery ticket, and that someone else found it, and that she is somehow entitled to the winner's earnings anyway, even thought she has no proof of purchase and the law is not on her side. Lottery tickets are "bearer's notes", meaning that the person who holds the ticket is the owner. If she dropped her purse, too bad. Next time be more careful. I suspect when all is said and done, they will charge the claimant with filing a false police report.
