Pat Leahy shows his ignorance today.
The rank(ing) Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee shows how little he knows about our Government today. He states:
"I'm not going to lend my support to an effort by this president to move the Supreme Court and the law radically to the right and to remove the final check within our democracy,"
I guess someone should tell this idiot that we live in a Republic, not a Democracy. No wonder he won't confirm Alito - he doesn't want to be upstaged by someone who has a grasp on our system of government.
And if I hear about Ted Kennedy's questioning of Alito's involvement in CAP, I'll laugh as hard as when we found out that Jesse Jackson was "consulting" with Bill Clinton on his extra-marital affair during the same time he was fathering a child out of wedlock. Of course, Ted got jealous, and had to have his own "love child" out of wedlock. With typical Kennedy class, he got a woman pregnant during his divorce to Joan, and then left her when she told him she was pregnant and refused to abort the child.
It's hard to take the Left's Senators seriously when they show a general lack of knowledge about our Government, and such serious ethical lapses in their personal lives. Who are they to judge anyone?
