Susan Estrich, join my list (of ass-clowns). As if I needed convincing that you were an ass-clown (your face on FoxNews.com should have been enough), I read your letters to Michael Kinsey of the L.A. Times.
He was too nice to you - he has been more than patient with you. I, however, don't work for a newspaper, so I'm not bound by that pressure to be nice.
So, without further ado, you're an ass-clown. Welcome to the list. Why am I including you with the other leftist ass-wads? Because of several reasons.
First, your voice sucks. I hate hearing it. It sounds like some yenta from New York (not Southern California, as you love to boast) who drinks 8 cups of coffee a day to chase down 3 packs of Marlboros. How they ever put you on television amazes me. Your face is made for radio.
Now that I've attacked you personally, your views are so extreme and mis-informed that I wonder why anyone listens to you. I can see that your personal bias precludes you from ever looking at an issue with openness. I can pick any issue, and I'll know where you stand on it before you open that caustic pie-hole of yours. The reason why no one wants to publish your drivel is that everyone already knows what you have to say. Kerry is good, Bush is bad. We've heard that arguments, and we've refuted it as a country. You lost. Get over it.
I have taken the time to read your exchange between Michael Kinsey and yourself. Here's my take on the matter:
Ok, now that I've covered that, on to more subjects:
Georgia has a bill in the Legislature to add children's health statistics (weight, body fat index, etc.) to report cards. This is a VERY bad idea. Here's a few reasons why:
Think I'm kidding? Look at other abuses by legislatures. Teachers press for students to be labeled "ADD", then they demanded more money from the Federal Government (read: your tax dollars) for teaching "disabled" students. This is just another grab for your cash.
Do you want your child to be labeled "fat" by his or her teachers? Isn't it enough to have other students doing it?
Do you really want the Government (since schools are an extension and/or agent for them) to have that information to use or misuse about your child? After all, if they can publish a list of people who owe taxes, why not publish a list of people who've eaten too much? How would you like to be on a "fat list"?
If you have ideas, comments, or criticisms, tell me about it.
