How can you spot an idiot? Look for a politician with moving lips.
I was listening to G. Gordon Liddy today, since local radio stations play trite music like the Rolling Stones or Lynyrd Skynyrd. If you don't like what they call "Rock", you end up listening to "Pop" music, which means either Hip-Hop crap or worse. I'm not going to even list Country/Western as a category.
So, I'm listening to G. Gordon Liddy, and he's calling Michael Schiavo a murderer and a wife-abuser. Of course, murder is the unlawful killing of a person, which he has not been charged or convicted of. He's never been charged with a crime, at all. But don't let that stop far-Right idiots from slandering him. If I was him, I'd sue G. Gordon Liddy for slander.
The charges of abuse are the most suspect of being false, and the most inflamatory. I'll ignore those and let Michael sue G. Gordon to prove that in court.
As for the charge of "murder", I'll give you a simple test.
Let's suppose that Terri dies. Let's just say that it will happen, at some point. It might be today, it might be tomorrow. But let's assume it will happen.
So, now all the far-Right Right-to-Lifers have their panties in a wad calling Michael a murderer for "killing" her.
I'll ask you a simple question. What if a document was uncovered the next day which could be authenticated which clearly articulated Terri's wish NOT to be kept alive in just the circumstance she was in. I know this is hypothetical. Let's just ask this question. If we find proof, definitive proof, that Terri wouldn't want to be kept alive in her state, are you still going to call him a murderer?
If not, then you're really just hung up on whether or not she said it, not her Right to determine the course of her life.
If that's the case, then you can't judge him based upon the partial, biased testimony of her parents. Nobody knows her wishes. Her husband is the BEST source. We have to defer to him in the absence of other evidence.
Can't get over it? Then who needs you?
