I've been giving some more thought to the Coretta Scott King funeral.

At first, I was all pissed off at Lowery and Carter for using her funeral as a bully-pulpit to attack Bush.

But, the more I think about it, it might have fitting for them to use her for a partisan rant.

A simple look at her contributions to political campaigns shows that she supports the very same people who talk that way.

After all, aren't it Kennedy and Clinton some of the Leftist partisans who've been pimping the "Bush lied!" falsehood that no one's buying. Well, a few zombies (read: Democrats) still hang on to the argument that Saddam didn't have WMDs (even though the same people said that he did when Clinton was president). Even though we've all seen the pictures of dead Kurds in the streets, and read about the Iranians he's killed with the WMDs that the Lefists now want us to believe never existed.

Back to my point: Coretta Scott King (AKA "the professional widow) supported these same fools in their bid for public office. After all, the three people she's given the most (in terms of frequency) to are Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy, Hillary "We Are The President" Clinton, and Cynthia "Moonbat" McKinney.

While I won't ask Ted about Mary Jo again (how is she doing, Teddy?), Hillary is probably still busy re-writing the Rose Law Firm billing records, and Cynthia McKinney is being fitted for her burka, you see the theme that these people all have in common:

1) Big government
2) High taxes
3) Progressive taxation (Karl Marx, eat your heart out)
4) No individual responsibility
5) Endless social programs, designed to create reliance on the government from cradle to the grave
6) Support for terrorists
7) Loathing of the U.S. Military

So, I've changed my mind. Although it showed a lack of class to use a funeral to take shots at the President, it's the same class that Mrs. King showed in her political contributions.

See what else I have to say Previous day's rant
