Fucking liar.
Bill Clinton has been in the news a lot this past week. Mostly, he's trying to cover his "legacy" and create some false sense of success from the wasted 8 years of his Presidency.
He's critical of George Bush for failing to get OBL. Even better, he accused GWB of failing to get OBL in the 8 months before 9/11.
So, what's Bill's excuse for failing to get OBL for the 7+ years before that? When OBL masterminded the first WTC bombing in 1993, what did Bill do? When al Qaeda bombed the USS Cole, what did Bill do? When al Qaeda bombed our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, what did Bill do? When al Qaeda bombed the Khobar Towers, what did Bill do?
And what about Mogadishu (not a failure related to al Qaeda, but it is 1 more example of failed responses)?
And why did Bill pass up Sudan's offer to hand deliver bin Laden to US officials? Who is to blame for that?
Bill is mad - but I feel his anger should be directed inward.
If it were me, I would tearfully apologize to this Country for letting them down. I would beg their forgiveness for ignoring the repeated attacks on our people and our Country without doing anything about it.
If Bill had an ounce of decency, he'd shut his fucking mouth, and let George Bush finish the job of cleaning up his mess.
And if the people of this Country let his wife get any more power, we have more of this "leadership" to look forward to.
